Questions buyers ask
The CMS Doctors and Clinicians national downloadable file, the Medicare enrollment roster, version Aug 18, 2026. Every emergency physician in it treats Medicare patients, which is a filter on its own: no lapsed enrollments, no phantom practices. Emails are added and verified by us, not bought from a broker.
Not on the verified rows. The email column is the emergency physician's own work address, matched to the practice domain and checked against the mailbox. The practice phone sits in its own column for the times you do want the front desk.
The full roster ships either way, because the phone and practice address are worth having on the rows we could not match.
They have the address they bill from, which is usually the hospital or the staffing group, not a private office. That is worth knowing before you buy. The phone number is the billing practice line.
Role addresses, catch-all-only domains and dead mailboxes are removed before you get the file, which is what keeps a cold send from wrecking a domain. If hard bounces still pass five percent on the verified column, we refund the $295 against your bounce report.
They are short. CAN-SPAM: no misleading headers or subject lines, a real physical address in every message, a working opt-out honored quickly. No opt-in is required for business to business commercial email in the US. HIPAA does not apply, because provider records are not patient records.
