How much does a physician email list cost?
On Sep 29, 2026, sellers that publish prices charged $0.04 a record with email (Datazapp) or $299.75 for 500 email leads (LeadsPlease) by the record or lead, $599 for 13,704 US cardiologist records or $499 for 8,957 US dermatologist records for a one-time specialty list (BookYourData), and $29 a month billed yearly and up for a subscription (ReachStream). Most specialist list houses show no price. Ours is $295 per specialty file, or $995 for all 30.

Our email column is built after you order: in our first test run, on Sep 10, 2026, 55 of 400 cardiologists got a verified email.

The ways sellers charge
Sellers charge in five ways: per record, per list, by subscription, by rental and by quote.
Per record or per lead. You pay for each contact. LeadsPlease charges $299.75 for 500 email leads; Datazapp charges $0.04 a record with email; CarePrecise sells email addresses alone at $0.79 down to $0.05 each, by volume. Cheap per row, but a specialty's full roster adds up, and minimums apply.
Per list, one time. You pay once for a fixed file. BookYourData charges $599 for 13,704 US cardiologist records, BizProspex $340 for 1,250 leads, and we charge $295 for any of our 30 specialty files.
Subscription. You pay monthly for credits to export from a database: UpLead from $74 a month billed yearly, ReachStream from $29 a month billed yearly, Salesgenie from $99 a month. Good for steady prospecting; exports stop when the plan does.
Rental. Specialty societies rent their lists for one mailing, such as $250 per thousand names for the American College of Cardiology's postal list, and approve your mail piece first; the ASA sends emails itself and never hands the list over. You never own the names.
Quote. Most specialist list houses, including LakeB2B, MedicoReach, DataCaptive and InfoGlobalData, show counts but no price. iInfotanks, which sells physician data and shows no price, puts most US physician email data at $0.05 to $3.00 per contact in an August 2026 article.
What one row costs from us
Every specialty file is $295, so the price per clinician falls as the file grows: from 0.64¢ for emergency physicians (46,004 rows) to 8.2¢ for allergists (3,608 rows). The $995 bundle works out to 0.2¢ per clinician across all 30 files. Those are prices per row; the email column covers only some rows, so a price per verified email would be higher.

What moves the price
Four things move the price.
Whether emails are included. CarePrecise sells its physician database without emails and prices each address separately; our files ship the CMS columns at once and build the email column after you order.
Who you can reach. Rented society lists reach the society's members and contacts and come with rules about what you can send; bought lists come with a license that says where you can use them.
How long you can use it. Rentals are one mailing; MMS orders must be used within 90 days; subscriptions stop exporting when you stop paying. One-time purchases carry no subscription: BookYourData lists its usage rights as unlimited, and ours allow unlimited use inside your company.
What a row is. Sellers count contacts, and some mix US and worldwide counts on the same page, so compare prices per US physician.

13 of the 19 other sellers in our seller comparison showed no price on the pages we read. They send a count and a quote after you tell them the specialty, region and volume you want.
The free sources are the CMS and NPPES files, which list practice addresses and phones but no marketing emails (NPPES lists Direct secure-messaging addresses for some clinicians), and sellers' samples of 10 to 100 records. A free file that promises a verified email for every physician in a specialty deserves a check against the federal count first.
