The base file is the CMS Doctors and Clinicians national downloadable file, last refreshed Aug 18, 2026. It lists every clinician enrolled in Medicare, so each orthopedic surgeon here bills from a real practice at a real address. The email column is ours: we find the address, then verify it. Nothing is copied from a directory that resells the same rows to everyone.
Every row is one named orthopedic surgeon with their own NPI, city and state. Most rows also carry the practice name and phone. The email column holds that person's work address where we found and verified one. We do not pad the file with generic office inboxes to lift the count.
No verified count yet. This file's email column is built after you order and reaches you within a day at no extra cost, and only addresses that pass an SMTP check go in. Expect a minority of rows to get one: in our first test run, 55 of 400 cardiologists got a verified email (Sep 10, 2026). Every row keeps the practice city, state and ZIP. Most rows also carry a street address and a practice phone.
Not from CMS enrollment data alone, because orthopedic surgery is a single specialty code with subspecialty enrollments used inconsistently. What you can do is filter on practice name, which often names the focus, and on city. We would rather tell you that than sell you a subspecialty flag we made up.
