Who buys this list

Surgical and specialty groups hiring PAs

A group adding a PA needs names by state. The practice name is on most rows, so you can search it for words like surgery or orthopedics and shortlist the groups that match yours.

Staffing firms and telehealth companies

Locum agencies and virtual care groups place PAs one state at a time. The state column is the first cut. CMS records whether a clinician reports telehealth services, and 19% of this list does.

Pharma, device and diagnostics marketing

PAs prescribe, under rules that vary by state, so they belong in a non-personal promotion universe. Practice name and phone, on most rows, show you which PAs work at accounts you already call on.

Malpractice insurers and CME providers

Both sell to the individual clinician and to the group behind them, and both work state by state. Cut the file to the states you cover and write to the PA by name.

How many physician assistants are in this file?

This file has 138,850 physician assistants, every one enrolled in Medicare in the CMS file dated Aug 18, 2026, counted once each by NPI. Physician assistants who don't bill Medicare are not in it. Every specialty side by side.

Other places to buy a physician assistant list

Other sellers publish different counts, prices and terms. We compared 19 of them on Sep 29, 2026, including where they beat us: physician email list providers, compared. The prices we found are compared on what a physician email list costs.

Questions buyers ask

Where does this physician assistant data come from?

The roster is the CMS Doctors and Clinicians national file, a public Medicare dataset. Our copy is dated Aug 18, 2026. It holds 138,850 rows, one per NPI, across 27,230 practice locations. Only PAs enrolled in Medicare appear, so a PA who never enrolled is missing. Nurse practitioners are a separate CMS specialty with their own list. The email column is ours: we find the address and verify it. You can check any row against the public NPI registry.

Is a row a person, and what is on it?

A person. First name, last name, NPI, city, state and ZIP are on every row. Most rows also carry the practice name, street address, practice phone and credential, so rows without an email are still workable by phone or mail. Some rows have a blank credential, so a filter on that column drops them. The email column holds the PA's own work address where we found one. A shared office inbox does not count as a find.

Does every physician assistant have an email?

No. This file's email column is built after you order and reaches you within a day at no extra cost, and only addresses that pass an SMTP check go in. Expect a minority of rows to get one: in our first test run, 55 of 400 cardiologists got a verified email (Sep 10, 2026). Every row keeps city, state and ZIP. Most rows also carry a street address and a practice phone.

Are surgical PAs included?

They are in the file if they enrolled in Medicare, but the file does not label them. CMS lists every PA under one specialty, physician assistant, and the secondary specialty column is empty on nearly every row, so there is no surgical tag to filter on. The practice name is on most rows. Search it for words like surgery or orthopedics to shortlist groups, and expect to miss PAs whose practice name says nothing about the service.

What if the emails bounce?

If more than five percent of the verified emails hard bounce on your first send, reply to your receipt with the bounce report and we refund the $295. Only addresses that pass an SMTP check go in, and addresses on catch-all domains are left out. You paid once, so there is no subscription to cancel.

Do I need consent before emailing physician assistants?

Not under US law. CAN-SPAM allows commercial email, business-to-business included, without prior opt-in, as long as the sender is truthful, the message carries a physical address, and unsubscribe requests are honored within ten business days. HIPAA covers patient data and does not reach provider directory data like this. Rules outside the US can be stricter, and that call is yours.
