The AAMC counted 18,612 active physicians in hematology and oncology in 2024, whether or not they bill Medicare. This file has 17,153 oncologists, every one enrolled in Medicare in the CMS file dated Aug 18, 2026, counted once each by NPI. Every specialty side by side.

No. The roster is the CMS Doctors and Clinicians file, a public Medicare dataset dated Aug 18, 2026, which is why the practice names and phone numbers hold up. We build the email column on top of it and verify each address. Directories resell aging rows to every buyer. A public file plus our own verification does not have that problem.
That is what we go after: the oncologist's own address at their practice domain. A reception inbox does not count as a find. Rows without a verified personal address still ship with name, NPI, city and state, and most with the practice name and phone, so you can reach them by phone or mail.
No. This file's email column is built after you order and reaches you within a day at no extra cost, and only addresses that pass an SMTP check go in. Expect a minority of rows to get one: in our first test run, 55 of 400 cardiologists got a verified email (Sep 10, 2026). Every row keeps the practice city, state and ZIP. Most rows also carry a street address and a practice phone.
This list covers medical oncology and hematology oncology enrollments. Radiation oncology is a separate specialty in the CMS file and has its own list on this site. Surgical oncologists mostly enroll under general surgery, so they sit in the general surgeon list. Nothing is double counted across the three.
