Who buys this list
Value-based care and ACO enablement companies
Shared savings and risk groups sign primary care practices one at a time. The file gives you the internist, and the practice name and phone on most rows. Where CMS lists a group affiliation, an organization ID and size come with the row, and 11,034 organizations appear in this file.
Remote patient monitoring and chronic care management vendors
Programs for blood pressure and diabetes run through the internist who manages the patient's chronic conditions. Cut the file by state to match where your clinical staff can practice. CMS also publishes a telehealth indicator, and it reads yes on 32% of these rows.
Cardiometabolic pharma and adult vaccine teams
Internists start and adjust lipid and diabetes therapy, and they give adult vaccines. NPI on every row means you can match the file to your own prescriber data before anything goes out. Field teams can start in the five states with the most rows: California, New York, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania.
Reference labs and diagnostics
Lab panels, point of care tests and home collection kits are sold to the practice. Street address and phone are on most rows, so a field rep or a phone team can work the same list as the email team.
How many internal medicine physicians are in this file?
This file has 105,887 internal medicine physicians, every one enrolled in Medicare in the CMS file dated Aug 18, 2026, counted once each by NPI. Internal medicine physicians who don't bill Medicare are not in it. Every specialty side by side.
Other places to buy a internal medicine physician list
Other sellers publish different counts, prices and terms. We compared 19 of them on Sep 29, 2026, including where they beat us: physician email list providers, compared. The prices we found are compared on what a physician email list costs.
Questions buyers ask
The base is the CMS Doctors and Clinicians national file, a public dataset of Medicare-enrolled clinicians. It is dated Aug 18, 2026. One row is one NPI, and this internal medicine physicians email list keeps the rows whose primary specialty in CMS is internal medicine. The email column is ours: we find an address, then verify it. Nothing is copied from a directory that resells the same rows to every buyer.
We go after the internist's own address at the practice domain. A reception inbox does not count as a find. Name, NPI, city, state and ZIP are on every row. Most rows also carry the practice name, street address, phone and credential. The secondary specialty column shows a second CMS enrollment where one is listed. A row without a verified address still ships with whatever CMS lists for that physician.
No. This file's email column is built after you order and reaches you within a day at no extra cost, and only addresses that pass an SMTP check go in. Expect a minority of rows to get one: in our first test run, 55 of 400 cardiologists got a verified email (Sep 10, 2026). Every row keeps the practice city, state and ZIP. Most rows also carry a street address and a practice phone.
No. CMS lists hospitalists, geriatric medicine and general practice as separate specialties, and none of them are in this file. Internal medicine subspecialists enroll under their own specialties too, so cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, pulmonology, endocrinology, rheumatology, infectious disease and oncology are separate files on this site. Pediatricians are a separate file as well. CMS has no single primary care specialty, so a primary care physician email list built from this data takes more than one file. The secondary specialty column shows a second enrollment where CMS lists one. Physicians who never enrolled in Medicare are missing from the CMS file and from this one.
Only addresses that pass an SMTP check go in the email column. If more than five percent of the verified emails hard bounce on your first send, reply to your receipt with the bounce report and we refund the $295. You pay $295 once, so there is no subscription to cancel.
In the United States, yes. CAN-SPAM allows commercial email, business-to-business included, without prior opt-in. You must be truthful about who is sending, include a physical postal address and honor unsubscribe requests within ten business days. HIPAA covers patient health information and does not reach provider directory data like this. Outside the United States the rules may be stricter, and that check is yours.
